Night Two… Enrolment to Hedgehog-warts 🦔 …

After a very exciting visit on Night One, and discovering that all of the boiled egg had disappeared, I decided I wanted to help my new little friend out.

I popped to the shop and picked up some kitten biscuits for her. I don’t have any pets of my own, so I didn’t have any suitable food already waiting in the cupboard.

I found her a little red plastic lid to use as a plate and set up a bird bath for fresh water.

However… whilst I was busy preparing everything, she arrived!

Once again, I managed to sneak outside without disturbing her and left out the water and biscuits. The rest was up to her.

And that was the moment I decided she was officially part of the family.

(An extended, wild member of the family… but she counts. 🦔)

This garden needs to become a safe space for her, somewhere she can visit, feel comfortable, and hopefully keep coming back to.
